Digital Skills for Neurodiverse Learners

From Creativity to Real-World Skills

After building focus, confidence, and structured learning skills, many students are ready for the next step.

At Teens Computer School, students transition from foundational learning into digital creativity and technical skills.

This is Stage 2 of the NeuroCreative Education System™ — where students begin to develop practical abilities and future skills.

Who This Program Is For

This program is designed for neurodiverse teens who:

◍ have basic ability to follow structured instruction
◍ are ready for longer, more focused sessions
◍ show interest in computers, creativity, or technology

Including students with:

◍ High-Functioning Autism (Asperger’s)
◍ ADHD
◍ Dyslexia / Dysgraphia
◍ Anxiety or sensory sensitivities
◍ DS

What Changes at This Stage

At this level, students move from:

◍ learning how to learn➡️ to ◍ learning how to create and apply skills

They begin to:

◍ work on multi-step projects
◍ use digital tools
◍ explore personal interests
◍ build early specialization

Core Learning Areas

Students are introduced to a range of structured digital disciplines:

Computer Graphics

◍ digital drawing
◍ image editing
◍ visual composition

Animation

◍ basic motion principles
◍ frame-by-frame animation
◍ storytelling through visuals

Web Design

◍ layout and structure
◍ visual interface basics
◍ simple web creation

Coding Fundamentals

◍ logic and sequencing
◍ basic programming concepts
◍ structured problem-solving

This program follows a structured, multi-phase curriculum designed to guide students from foundational digital skills to independent project work.

Structured Learning Approach

Just like in Stage 1, students continue learning in a structured, predictable format:

◍ step-by-step instruction
◍ visual demonstrations
◍ guided practice
◍ independent project work

This ensures continuity and reduces anxiety while increasing independence.

Instructor-Led Model

Classes are led by experienced instructors trained in the NeuroCreative methodology.

Students receive:

◍ clear instruction
◍ individual support within a group
◍ structured progression

Optional:

◍ additional instructor support for more complex groups

Program Structure

◍ 12–16 week terms
◍ 1–2 sessions per week
◍ 60–90 minutes per session
◍ Small groups (4–6 students)

They also begin to:
