Program Overview
Visual Design Lab™: Fashion Design & Techniques is an immersive in‑class program where teens ages 13–18 explore the creative world of fashion design, illustration, and applied techniques. Students learn how to generate fashion ideas, sketch and illustrate garments, understand fabrics and materials, apply color theory and styling fundamentals, and create wearable looks. The program combines artistic expression with practical design methods so students can confidently build and refine their own fashion projects.
Program Purpose
The purpose of this program is to help teens develop a strong foundation in fashion design and visual communication through hands‑on learning, real projects, and professional guidance. Students gain both artistic and technical skills that prepare them for creative fields, further studies, and personal expression through fashion.

Learning Focus

Program Outcome
By the end of the 10-month Fashion Creators Lab™, teens will confidently design and illustrate original fashion concepts, create mood boards and mini collections, apply color and textile knowledge, and produce wearable garments and accessories. Students will build a professional portfolio showcasing their creative projects, develop skills in both traditional and digital design tools, and gain the confidence to present and communicate their ideas—preparing them for advanced studies or future creative careers in fashion and visual design.
