Course Purpose

This course provides students with foundational digital literacy and communication skills needed to understand how social media and digital platforms influence information, behavior, and society.

Students learn to analyze, plan, and create digital content responsibly, without using personal social media accounts or publishing personal data. The course emphasizes online safety, ethical behavior, critical thinking, and media awareness.

By the end of the program, students will be able to:

Understand how social media platforms function at a conceptual level

Identify online risks and practice safe digital behavior

Analyze digital content critically and ethically

Create educational digital content for fictional or educational projects

Understand basic content strategy and audience awareness

Demonstrate responsible, respectful online communication

Present projects clearly and thoughtfully

Program Structure
